Donald C. Cavanaugh Day 2020
Category:Palm Springs Celebrates Donald C Cavanaugh
Donald C. Cavanaugh, the founder of the Blue Coyote Grill in Palm Springs, would have been 76 on November 10, 2020. And whereas it is said “only the good die young,” Don died of Parkinson’s Disease on February 23, 2019.
When Don Cavanaugh established The BLUE COYOTE BAR & GRILL in Palm Springs in 1992, it was an instant success and helped bring people and businesses to the north end of Palm Springs. Almost 28 years later, the Blue Coyote is a staple in the Coachella Valley and loved by so many. Today people will say, "Awesome place! Excellent food, amazing service, excellent margaritas perfect little place, authentic Mexican food,” “Those awesome Wild Coyote Margaritas are not for the meek,” “ or “Blue Coyote is ALWAYS our go-to spot when in Palm Springs.”
In commemoration of his birthday, the Blue Coyote Bar & Grill together with Parkinson’s Resource Organization and the City of Palm Springs has created Donald C Cavanaugh Day.
