PARKINSON'S RESOURCE ORGANIZATION INVITES YOU TO CELEBRATE

THE 2ND ANNUAL

DON CAVANAUGH DAY

Donald C. Cavanaugh, the founder of the Blue Coyote Grill in Palm Springs, would have been 76 on November 10, 2020. And whereas it is said “only the good die young,” Don died of Parkinson’s Disease on February 23, 2019. 

Don's Story

In 1992, Don Cavanaugh moved to Palm Springs & opened the Blue Coyote Grill. The restaurant was an instant success— bringing people, jobs, & business to the North Palm Canyon area.  Although afflicted with Parkinson's Disease for the last 15 years of his life, he continued to enjoy the amazing community & friendships Palm Springs has to offer. 

Through Parkinson's Resource Organization, Don and his family got the education, support, & referral services they needed to ensure Don's legacy of the Blue Coyote Grill lived on.  Despite scaling back due to the pandemic, the Blue Coyote Grill wants to honor Don, give back to PRO, and ensure people and families afflicted with Parkinson's know that PRO is here to help.

*The Blue Coyote Grill strictly follows all CDC, state, and local guidelines. All patrons must wear a face mask when not seated at their table and order food with drinks. All tables are spaced at least 6-feet apart.
