He has over four decades of experience university and college lecturing in economics, finance, and accounting which makes him be adept at client education finding stable, creative, and usable solutions in his practice. 

Jim and his wife, Doris, have been married 54 years. This ex-Marine, was a volunteer treasurer of a non-profit that assists stroke and arthritis victims.  Currently is the treasurer of theater and arts non-profit. He provides discreet support to a no-kill animal shelter. He spent 5 years with the California Adopt-A-Highway program obtaining the honorary title of ‘Head Trash Picker.’
