WHAT IS GRIEF? Experiencing Losses

Experiencing Losses
What an impactful meeting PRO’s first new “GRIEF” GROUP was. Attended by People with Parkinson’s, Partners in Care, and former Partners in Care, facilitated by Glendon Geikie, MSW, IELDA, CGCS. We were so inspired and moved by the participants, because grief, as you know, is so much more than “The End of Life”. Grief for a person with Parkinson’s may happen as they start grieving their losses of movement. Grief for a Partner in Care may start as they start losing the partner relationship they once knew; and grief for a child may start as they witness what appears to be “losing their hero."
NEXT MEETING – July 22nd
CONTINUES – 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month
TIME – 10 AM PST
