TELL SOMEONE
Category: Newsworthy NotesHow do you tell someone you promised till death do us part,
That you feel strongly and straight from the heart,
They will be carrying more than their share
And for better, for worse, it’s worse that they’ll bear.
How do you tell someone that brings warmth to your heart
That this cross that you bear is tearing you apart.
Slowly but surely one thing at a time
Darkness will replace where the sun used to shine.
How do you tell someone that has counted on you,
That your broad shoulders, so strong and true
That moved mountains that got in your way
Is shrinking and weakening a little more each day.
Bill Winslow is 47 years old and lives in Pennsylvania with the “love of my life”, Deb. They met through friends who shared a beach house back in 1988. They have been married for 23 years and have 2 children and 3 dogs (who follow Bill everywhere). Bill worked as a Sales Operations Consultant at a Fortune 500 telecommunications equipment manufacturer until August 2013. He is currently on long term disability. He thinks his wife is the smartest person he knows. She is everything to him. As he put it, “She is the dot to my ‘I’ and the cross to my ‘t’.”
