It breaks our hearts to hear such news as we ALWAYS second guess the cause, the reason, the “why”: Could we have done something to ease the pain, should we have imposed our help though never asked? The answers are not ours to know, but what we do know at Parkinson’s Resource Organization is that PRO takes every opportunity to SHOUT our message of understanding, support, encouragement and education so “No One is isolated because of Parkinson’s.

Summer break is over and we are gearing up for a very busy season. We had a very productive summer and now look forward to seeing dear friends and NEW friends at the Support Group Meetings. If you have participated in a support group meeting, please share your experience with someone you know, a friend, neighbor or the friend of a relative. You never know how your invitation may impact another life and how priceless that connection might become.

My assistant, Doug VanSant and I would truly love to see you at the Belmont Car Show on 2nd Street in Long Beach on Sunday, September 7th. If you have not been to this car show before I can assure you it is a fabulous outing. We have proudly participated since 2008.
