Message From The President - November 2022

November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to reflect on and appreciate the incredible efforts of family caregivers, raise awareness of caregiver issues, and educate communities to increase support for our oft-overlooked caregiver class. 

As caregivers ourselves, PRO has long recognized the unique sacrifices and needs of Parkinson’s caregivers. That’s why we offer several support groups a month dedicated to caregivers. Our Partner in Care meetings offer the opportunity to laugh, cry, vent, and release frustrations in a loving and sympathetic space. 

We also want all our caregivers to know when it feels like there’s nowhere else to turn, we’re here to take your call. Let us know what you need, and we’ll let you know what we can do to help. And if we don’t have an immediate answer to your questions, we won’t rest until we find one. 

We appreciate you, and you are not alone.
