Message from the President - July 2022
Category: Message From The PresidentINDEPENDENCE DAY... what does it mean to you?
Independence means to be resourceful. To be able to adapt to any situation and satisfy your needs with what you have. It is to take responsibility for your actions and be aware of the consequences, be brave and take the risk of trusting only yourself. Sometimes a disease like Parkinson’s takes that independence away. Independence is different than freedom. Freedom, generally, is having an ability to act or change without constraint. Whichever you wish to apply Independence and/or Freedom, please enjoy your 4th of July and thank those who work and have sacrificed to give us the freedoms we enjoy and cherish in the United States.
At PRO, among other things, we work to educate people about resources available that can create the best quality of life possible. We work for the independence of others, and we’ve been doing this for nearly 33 years.
