Message from the Executive Director (November 2024)
Category:I’m going to keep it short because we have so much content to fit into this month’s Newsletter. We’re headed into the holiday season. Thanksgiving themes of gratitude will bleed very quickly into appeals for generosity and reminders to give back (don’t worry, we’ll get there). For now, I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of the PRO community.
Wow, do we have a lot to talk about. Last month I alluded to a special announcement coming soon: if you missed it, we’re really excited to announce a partnership with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for our upcoming ‘Parkinson’s Today’ Symposium in February, 2025. The event is local to Coachella Valley, but we’re recording the entire program for digital release after the fact. Read more in this Newsletter.
Also upcoming is the 6th Annual Don Cavanaugh Day fundraiser on November 10th (details in the Newsletter), our third PRO Social Club outing, amazing virtual Village Presentations covering clinical trials, HR and disability, and more.
So without further ado, I’ll let you get to reading. Stay safe this Thanksgiving, enjoy your time with family, and remember that you have a PRO family right here, whenever you need us.
