Memorial Wall Launch & Week of Remembrance
Category:Over the years, we at PRO have consistently been asked to create a special place to honor loved ones who’ve lost their battle with Parkinson’s, a place of remembrance and healing for those who are left behind. Our response was the Memorial Wall, which can be found at ParkinsonsResource.org/the-memorial-wall. A virtual place to hold the memory of someone who lived with Parkinson’s or Parkinsonisms, the wall also creates a repository for family, friends, and loved ones to make donations in memory of the departed person.
Although this project has been “under construction” for years, we’re excited to officially launch the first and only Memorial Wall for the Parkinson’s community this May 23rd - 27th with a week-long celebration of the life and legacy of our community of departed loved ones.
Do you have a loved one we should add to the Memorial Wall? Send us their information online using www.parkinsonsresource.org/MemorialLaunch or email us an obituary, photo, and DOB and DOD at info@ParkinsonsResource.org by May 20th for inclusion in our Celebration of Life.
Or... become a sponsor! While inclusion on the wall is free, maintenance takes effort. Consider one of the below sponsor levels to build your own living legacy, and in tribute to those who have gone before us:
• Presidential: $20,000
• Hope: $15,000
• Peace: $10,000
• Angel: $5,000
• Guardian: $2,500
• Sustaining: $1,000
The work we do at PRO is a labor of love. And the Memorial Wall is an extension of that love... a place for love to gather, reminisce, and celebrate, as well as a show of force to remind the world what we’ve already lost to this hideous disease. Join us by sharing memories of your loved one at ParkinsonsResource.org/MemorialLaunch today.
