Meet Kim Guzzetti

Describe your role with PRO.

“I am part of an amazing team of dedicated PRO Board of Directors, members and Executive Director Eileen Lynch to support PRO’s mission of working so no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s Disease.”

What inspired you to come work with PRO?

“My initial inspiration was personal. My father had Parkinson’s, and my parents were connected to PRO for over 30 years ago. Fast forward 20 years, and my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. We have experienced firsthand the resources and support that PRO has to offer, including the incredible kindness and dedication of all the staff. I want to give back and pay it forward by sharing my background in leadership, governance, and budget oversight to support PRO’s mission.”

What is a fun fact about you?

“I was fortunate to grow up in a family of travelers and because of this, I love to travel! My grandmother traveled the world for 25 years in the 1950s and 1960s after my grandfather passed. My parents took us traveling to Europe when I was young, and I continued traveling on and off through adulthood with my husband and our son. Now that I am retired, I try to travel once a year out of the country and once a year somewhere within the US.”
