S.P.A. Day – January 14th, 2023
Our Special Person’s Appreciation Day is a thank you to our dedicated volunteers and community boosters. At this luncheon event we’ll revisit PRO’s core mission, expand on our goals for 2023, introduce upcoming volunteer opportunities, and most importantly, thank our incredible community for the support you continue to provide.
PRO on the Move – April 22nd, 2023
April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, and PRO is kicking it off with a nationwide celebration of movement to bring awareness to Parkinson’s disease and the various services and support that PRO offers people living with the disease and their caregivers. Join an existing team or create your own to walk, ride, roll, play, or otherwise MOVE with members of the Parkinson’s community.
Chocolate & Champagne – April 28th, 2023
To close out a full month of education and awareness, PRO is hosting a Chocolate & Champagne cocktail party on the last Friday of Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Join us to celebrate the incredible efforts of our community, to meet members of your community, and to enjoy local artisan chocolate, cold bubbly, music, and a few other surprises.
Roses for Rosen – September 26th, 2023
Every year, we celebrate the incredible effort and dedication of our Founder and President, Jo Rosen, with a special “Roses for Rosen” fundraising drive. This year will be no different. Mum’s the word on what birthday Jo hits this year, but the when is September 26th. Mark your calendars!
Second Annual ‘Brisket With A Purpose’ Cook-Off Competition – October, 2023
If you missed our First Annual Brisket Cook-off Competition… well, you missed out. Don’t make that mistake again. While the exact date of our Second Annual ‘Brisket with a Purpose’ Celebrity Pro-Am Brisket Cook-Off Competition is still TBD, it will take place on one of the latter weekends of October 2023.
Fifth Annual Don Cavanaugh Day - November 11, 2023
Continuing the legacy of generosity, daughters Shayne and Kelle Cavanaugh, along with the Blue Coyote Grill in Palm Springs, CA. celebrate Don, on his earth birthday, while supporting our community.
