An Update from Freddie

Freddie Schmidt was the first testimonial printed in PRO’s Newsworthy Notes in September 2010.

You asked for an update on Freddie Schmidt. I have permission to give you this.

Last Wednesday when Dr. Brady saw Freddie, he gave us a fork and spoon with heavy fat handles to pass on to another PD patient that we are seeing. Freddie told us that he has not used his special utensils for 4 to 6 months now. The other milestone, as Freddie calls them, is that the Friday night prior to coming to our office he took Kitty (his wife) out dancing for the first time in 10 years!!

I watched Fred yesterday while he ran his model train set. I am happy to report that Fred was able to pick up train cars and work with them without any shakes at all! He is moving around well and with some speed. At supper Fred made sure we noticed that his hands were not shaking and hadn't shook while we were at the table, even after a long day with the PAACI meeting.

Fred and Kitty enjoyed the journal entries from Cheryl and Pam.
