Dear Friend,

As we kick off the holiday season, I want to call your attention to a very special day, December 3rd is Giving Tuesday – “a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.” 

It’s a concerted effort on a worldwide scale to encourage people to give; to charity, to those in need…to organizations like Parkinson’s Resource Organization that survive on your support.

We’re working so no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s – and we’re committed to keeping all our programs free for people with Parkinson’s and their families. That includes programs like our Wellness Village Resource Directory, Memorial Wall, Monthly Newsletter, and our Emotional Support, Exercise, Mindfulness, and Grief Groups – but we can’t do it without you. 

As a nonprofit, Parkinson’s Resource Organization relies on generous donors like yourself to keep doing what we do. Whether it’s offering support, providing information and resource connections, or simply ensuring there’s always someone here to answer the phone when you give us a call, it all takes hard work and funding. 

As you prepare to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones, take some time to reflect on the blessings you have in your life – the people you love and the communities you create.
