APRIL 2024 IS PARKINSON’S AWARENESS MONTH

Mark your calendars…PRO will be celebrating Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April with a series of activities and events that get at the heart of living with Parkinson’s – education, exercise, and JOY.

PRO on the Move – Our third annual walk, ride, and roll event will take place on Saturday, April 27th. This event encourages you to get your heart rate up for a cause: start your own team or join a team near you to raise money for PRO’s free emotional and practical support programs. 

Chocolate & Champagne – We can’t think of a better pairing than Chocolate & Champagne! This intimate cocktail mixer features desserts from local artisans, a variety of champagnes, musical entertainment, and a silent auction. Join us on April 10th in Palm Springs.

The ABCs of Parkinson’s Disease – This educational lecture series will be delivered virtually and in-person at a number of venues, including the Cathedral City Senior Center and Joslyn Senior Center. Contact us at info@parkinsonsresource.org if you’d like us to speak to your community. 

2nd Annual Charity Bingo – We’re back for a raunchy good time with Palm Springs drag legends, who will preside over several rounds of bingo with prizes, entertainment, and drinks. This fundraiser will be ongoing throughout March and April at The Barracks in Cathedral City.
