Karen Morin, an oncology and hospice RN provides education, advocacy, and personal support to Californians. She is there providing warm understanding and compassionate care in case management or at End of Life including support for patients using Medical Aid in Dying or any and all end of life options.
She worked as an Oncology RN at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and ran support groups for cancer patients and their families at weSPARK Cancer Support Center (Sherman Oaks,Ca) where she now serves on their Board of Directors. Ms. Morin previously served as the Southern California Team Leader of the End-of-Life Volunteers for Compassion & Choices and now is part of the Southern California Action Team.
Compassion & Choices is the nation’s oldest, largest, and most active advocacy nonprofit organization working to improve care and expand options at the End of Life. She speaks to community groups and Support Centers and has appeared on radio and as part of medical conferences as well as medical and hospice organizations about all End of Life Options and California’s Medical Aid in Dying Law.
